The reasoning behind a hire, a second site, a £120,000 machine or a debt facility lives in a slide deck, a spreadsheet nobody can reproduce, or a memory that quietly rewrites itself once the outcome is known. The dueDate derives from the freeze timestamp plus the horizon, and outcome is write-once — its nulls are appended to, never edited, when reality answers. The record above is valid JSON as printed.
Advisers & Consumer Duty
UK financial advisers are required under the FCA’s Consumer Duty to be able to evidence that their advice process delivers good outcomes — and a recommendation supported by a documented, disciplined analysis is easier to evidence than one supported by judgement alone. LEXUN’s audit trail is close to that artefact by construction: the decision as framed, every input split into declared facts and declared assumptions, an honest uncertainty band rather than a point estimate, a resolution criterion frozen before the outcome, and — when reality answers — a scored outcome.
The Decision Record
Every analysis exports a print-quality Decision Record from the platform today: the question, all inputs with their fact-or-assumption classification, the probability band, the model version, the reproducibility id that lets anyone re-run the identical computation, and a sign-off line for your file. It is generated on the client’s device from the result object — nothing is added the engine did not say, and no client data leaves the device to produce it.
What we claim, precisely. LEXUN supports your evidence obligations by making the analysis behind a decision documented, reproducible and honestly uncertain. It does not make you or your firm compliant with anything: Consumer Duty compliance is a property of your whole process, judged by the FCA’s rules, and no software purchase changes that. LEXUN is decision intelligence, not financial, legal or regulatory advice, and this section has not had a solicitor’s review — that review is outstanding, as recorded on /trust.
